InBetween

Terms of Service

Last updated: June 23, 2026

These terms explain how InBetween works, what we ask of you, and what you can expect from us. We’ve written them in plain language because this space is meant to feel human, not corporate.

1. Welcome to InBetween

InBetween is a private digital space for reflection, journaling, guided exercises, community connection, and practical support during life in-between.

By using InBetween, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Not emergency care

InBetween is not emergency care and is not designed for crises.

If you may harm yourself or someone else, contact emergency services or a crisis hotline in your area immediately. Do not wait for a response inside the app.

3. Not therapy or medical advice

InBetween is not a substitute for therapy, diagnosis, medical care, legal advice, immigration advice, or other professional support.

Nothing in the app — including AI-generated responses — should be treated as professional advice. If you need clinical, legal, or urgent practical help, please reach out to a qualified professional or trusted local service.

4. Your account

You sign in with a private email link. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure.

Please use an email address you control. You agree that the information you provide is accurate enough for us to support your account.

5. Your private reflections and journals

Reflections and journal entries are meant to be private spaces for you.

You keep ownership of what you write. We provide the tools to store, revisit, and delete your private content according to our Privacy Policy.

6. Community spaces and user content

Some parts of InBetween may allow you to post or reply in community spaces. What you share there may be visible to other users depending on how the feature is designed.

You are responsible for what you write and post. Please be thoughtful, respectful, and careful with your own privacy.

  • Do not harass, threaten, or abuse others.
  • Do not post hate, spam, or content that puts others at risk.
  • Do not share private identifying information about other people without their consent.

7. AI-generated support and limitations

InBetween may use AI to generate reflections, suggestions, summaries, or resource ideas in response to what you share.

AI responses may be imperfect, incomplete, or inappropriate. They can misunderstand context or miss important nuance.

Do not rely on AI responses as professional advice. Use your own judgment, and seek human support when you need it.

8. Acceptable use

You agree to use InBetween in a way that respects other people and keeps the space safe.

You may not attempt to break, scrape, overload, or misuse the service, or use it for unlawful purposes.

9. Account deletion and content removal

You may be able to delete reflections, journal entries, and other content you created, depending on the features available in the app.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms or create risk for other users or for the service.

10. Changes to the service

InBetween may change, pause, or discontinue features over time as the product grows.

We may update these terms. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

11. Limitation of liability

InBetween is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, InBetween and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on AI-generated content or community posts.

12. Contact

If you have questions about these terms, you can reach us using the contact information at the bottom of this page.
