Private reflections and journal entries are treated as sensitive content.

They are not publicly visible. Access is limited to your signed-in account and the systems needed to store and display them back to you.

Posts and replies in community spaces may be visible to other users depending on how the feature is designed.

Please be thoughtful about what you share publicly. Community identity may use an anonymous handle or display settings you choose in your profile.

We use information to provide and improve InBetween, keep accounts secure, respond to support requests, and maintain community safety.

We do not sell user data. User-written private content should not be used for advertising.

When you use reflection or related features, your messages or journal content may be processed by AI providers to generate responses, reflections, summaries, or resource suggestions.

We work to limit processing to what is needed for the feature you are using. AI providers process data according to their own terms and our agreements with them.

InBetween is not a HIPAA-covered health platform, and we do not claim HIPAA compliance.

We use trusted service providers to operate InBetween — for example, hosting, authentication, email delivery, analytics needed for reliability, and AI infrastructure.

These providers may process data on our behalf only as needed to deliver the service.

InBetween uses cookies and local storage for sign-in, security, and basic preferences.

For example, authentication sessions and sign-in flows may rely on cookies so you can stay signed in safely.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to reduce risk and respond to issues responsibly.

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.

You may be able to delete certain content through the app. Account-level deletion options may evolve over time.

You can delete individual reflections or journal entries where the app provides that option.
